OPERATIONS COST ANALYST
Perform duties required to maintain, monitor, and enhance the financial reporting systems. Coordinate the cost accounting functions of the company as they relate to inventory and all aspects of the manufacturing operations. Develop reporting capabilities and interpret accounting records for management. Manage the systems aspect of the annual budget process and coordinate with team members in St. Louis and Montgomery.
- Read and interpret blueprints and routing sheet to determine material requirements and sequence of operation.
- Position work-piece against stops, alignment blocks or alignment pins and engage machine to complete operation.
- Operate machine to prove out set ups and produce a pilot work-piece for inspection purposes; measure work-piece dimensions using measuring instruments, such as (but not limited to) calipers, height gauges, tape measure and templates.
- Stack and move work from station to station.
- Maintain and lubricate machine tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures.
- Perform quality checks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Position Qualification Requirements

Physical Activities + Demands
Normal office environment which requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and see. May involve the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects of up to 15 to 20 pounds, infrequently.

Education
High school or general equivalent diploma (GED).

Experience
Five to ten years’ experience in an accounting related position in a manufacturing environment including direct involvement with manufacturing costing for inventory (preferably standard costing) and related management reporting.

Skills + Knowledge
Communication, analytical, detail orientation and problem-solving skills. Teamwork skills with experience in addressing issues involving multiple subjects (information technology, manufacturing, purchasing, etc.)
